Say Wha?

Hello, Friend!

brentgilliard:

This podcast is really fascinating! I like how they say what people who have to work weekends miss the most was a sense of commonality on the weekends. This is too true. It wasn’t the actual work on Saturdays and Sundays at Starbucks that I disliked, it was just the fact that…

Wish I could say the same. I seem to have become trapped in the infinite cycle of working weekends… although maybe that’s because I’m not satisfied with “just paying the bills”… What does that seem to equate to? Working full-time during the day at my uber-cool job, plus serving latte’s at 4:30am, and doing contract work on the side when not bleeding from both ears have become some sort of “social norm”… squeezing in 2 or 3 hours in here and there to jet across town to see a movie or grab a pint manages to help maintain some level of sanity, but I feel like I’m not the only one out there doing the same thing… will it all pay off? I guess I’ll see in a couple years… :)
